Margaret went to Coro this year with Marco Bommarito. All these girls shouldn’t be this old.

Cross Country
Another season of cross country is in the books for Margaret. She did very well, getting 3rd (out of a couple hundred) in a couple of races. She would have done better in the one these pictures are from, but she had to stop with 100 yards to go to throw up and a few people passed. All in all, she did very well. She will have to work a bit harder to make varsity next year.
Galapagos
We all went to Ann Arbor to see what Katy has been doing for the last couple of months. We were able to go to a frat party, wonder around campus a lot, go to the big house, and other things that make up Katy’s college life. The kids also got to see where Elizabeth grew up, her various schools etc. Margaret is ready to go to college now. And of course, we got to take Katy out shopping at the most expensive stores we could find in Ann Arbor.
On Katy’s last full here before she went to college, we decided to go to one of her favorite places, the aquarium. Fun was had by all. We even got Pinkberry.
First Day of School
Sam was off to middle school and Margaret to high school. If you click on the pictures above, you can see that Margaret is continuing the fine tradition of wearing really small shorts to school that Katy pioneered for the last 4 years. Katy is off to Michigan in a few days. Margaret has started cross country and seems to be enjoying it a lot at the high school. Sam seems pretty ambivalent about middle school.
In an attempt to see some of the country around where we live, I decided to take the family to Carmel-by-the-Sea and Point Lobos. Everyone complained about why would they want to spend a day with the entire family. Well, in the end, everyone had a great time and we got to see some beautiful parts of the country that are pretty near by. Margaret enjoyed it so much she made her Grandma Susan take her back to Carmel a few weeks later.
