The last home meet for the year was senior day. The day to recognize all of the seniors on the LGHS Swimming and Diving team. Katy got a nice plaque, some flowers, and they said some nice things about her. They will be in trouble next year without Katy helping out with the coaching.

None of us can believe that Katy is 18. She will be going off to college soon. These days turning 18 doesn’t mean as much as it used to. But Katy is telling me each day what else she can do now that she is 18. She can buy an animal now. She can vote. I am sure there are others.
