I had a chance to ride my bike with Eddy Merckx , the greatest cyclist of all time. It was a charity ride for The Oak Hill School, a school for autistic children. Apparently, he new someone who had a child there. Well, I saw him at the beginning, started the ride at over 20 mph, got lost, and saw him at the end. It was not nearly as nice as the Tyler Hamlilton ride I did a few years back, but it is not everyday you get to see a legend.

See what I saw in the parking lot at Fry’s in Palo Alto? Sam was beside himself excited when I showed him the picture. He had me print it out so he could show it to his friends. He took it to school for shareing. It is not that great of a picture because I used my camera phone.
Sam’s First Day of School
It was Sam’s first day of school. He is in the 5 day class this year. He seems to be enjoying it after the first few days. Next week, he will start lunch and play. That is a big deal to him because he couldn’t do it last year because he wasn’t potty trained. You are really supposed to be potty trained to go to this school at all, but he has been going for 2 years with it.
We had landscaping done to get our final occupancy permit as well as the TRPA inspection. We took a washer and dryer up there and moved a bit more stuff in. The landscaping looks great.
UPDATE: We passed the TRPA inspection.
