Sam put the star on this year. He had a little bit of trouble. We got our tree last weekend. Using tree is kind of pushing it. It is more like our Christmas branch. We did not do a good job of picking out the tree this time. We need to look at all sides of the tree before we cut it down. Next year it is actually Katy’s turn.

Sam is now driving. I don’t have to teach any other children to drive. Yay!!!
We had to wait for Katy to get back from college, so the tree trimming happened a bit later than usual. But out tree we got at Save Mart in Tahoe City looks pretty good.
Another Christmas season is upon us. Another parade with the car and the dog.
Another fall, another trip to Ann Arbor and visit Katy and see a game in the Big House. This year was a bit earlier and could not have had better weather for a football game.
While Margaret and Elizabeth toured the University of Chicago, Sam and I went downtown and saw the bean.
Today we (probably) went on the last “family adventure” of the summer. We went down to Big Sur and the Bixby Bridge.
We have been to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk a few times this summer.
Spent father’s day with the family. Went down the coast from Half Moon Bay to Santa Cruz with the necessary stop at various beaches and to get pie in Pescadero.
