Margaret was in the Los Gatos Christmas parade with her Brownie troop again this year. The goal was to get the Triumph ready for the parade, but we didn’t quite make it. It will be ready for the family for next year.

We had our annual gingerbread house decorating party. We got 1 picture. There were approximately 28 houses made.
My whole family was in Ocean Springs for Thanksgiving this year. We had turkey on the day before Thanksgiving because Rick had to start work on the next day. We had dinner at Patty’s house so she could show off her new kitchen.
The day after Halloween, while the kids were home from school, Margaret and Sam made Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach from duplo. Margaret took the pictures.
Another Halloween. There was a parade at school. Sam, Margaret, and Jax were Link, Zelda, and Eponia from the Zelda video games. Katy and her friends were princess fairies. We had 800+ people again and gave out glow bracelets.
We just had an earthquake here. It was a 5.6. The ’89 (World Series or Loma Prieta) quake was a 6.9. It was about 4 miles from our house and about 50 times more powerful. It was on the other side of San Jose from here. Probably 10-20 miles away. A friend in Berkeley just felt it as well. No damage here, I doubt there was much anywhere else either.

I went to Tahoe for an APRA board meeting. While there, I basically messed with wood for a few days. I burnt some slash that was lying around the yard and split some wood for this winter.

Pokie and I went to see They Might Be Giants. Pokie took a couple of really bad movies of their show.
Pokie: Yeah, well, they’re for the kids to see. We felt bad that it wasn’t an all ages show, since they wanted go, too.
We went to the zoo. There are pictures of animals and some of the kids.
