Tahoe

Saturday, December 30th, 2006

Again, just a few random pictures from the trip to Tahoe the week after Christmas. This is one Marcella took out of her bedroom window in the Castle. Also, there are a lot of pictures of her with her god-kids here.

Raclette

Wednesday, December 27th, 2006

For Christmas, Susan got Elizabeth a raclette machine for Tahoe. Looks like wikipedia defines the term as a type of cheese (which it is). It is also a type of cooking where you heat the cheese at your table and eat it. Similar to fondue, but with a grill and not a pot of oil [...]

Christmas Eve

Sunday, December 24th, 2006

We went to church this afternoon for the Christmas Eve children’s pageant. Sam didn’t want to dress up again this year but Katy and Margaret were angels. Click on the photo for more pictures.

Tree Trimming

Monday, December 4th, 2006

Tonight was the tree trimming. We actually got the tree and put it up a few days ago, but because of the gingerbread party and the Christmas parade, it took us a while to get balls on it. This was Katy’s year to put on the star.

Gingerbread

Sunday, December 3rd, 2006

Today was the big gingerbread house decorating party. We (Elizabeth) had 20+ kids over for most of the afternoon. Of course we had the jumpy house up as well.

Christmas Parade

Saturday, December 2nd, 2006

Today was the (50th) annual Christmas parade in Los Gatos. Margaret rode in a float with her Brownie troup. We all went down to watch her.
