Katy started 6th grade and Margaret started 2nd.  Katy was a little apprehensive about staring middle school this year.  A couple of days later and she says it is better than elementary school.  Margaret has class again with Sophie this year.

We have now passed all of the building departments requirements for using our house. There is still an issue with planning and planting trees before we can officially get our final inspection and the important certificate of occupancy. Katy and Susan made it back from England today. They were about 5 hours late because of the tightened security at Heathrow. We are very happy to have them back.

I tried for our final, the first real attempt. We were reasonably close, just have to redo a little bit of the electrical. We also have to do something to pass the TRPA part of the inspection. But so far, no one can really tell us what that is. Hopefully, we will go back up [...]
